Each tool answers one question completely. They share the same densities and the same formulas, so numbers from two different pages will always agree.

Pick the tool by the question you are actually trying to answer. If you know the area and thickness of the job and want to know what to order, start with the main asphalt calculator. If a supplier has already quoted you a weight and you need to know how much space it takes in the truck, use the tons to cubic yards converter. Coverage answers how far a single ton goes at a given depth, which is the fastest sanity check on any quote; the price tools tell you what that ton should cost; and the specialty tools handle recycled millings, cold patch and the UK tarmac units that behave differently from US short tons.
